Presentation Template Issue...

Leo

Hi,

I am facing a problem in getting the (href, src & alt) of the image, with below mentioned PT. During the first iteratiion of the Section Paragraph,I am getting all the href, src & alt values correctly for all the 'Main Sections' under the first Section Paragraph. But from the second iteration onwards(second Section Paragraph), I am not getting any of these values for the Main Sections under the Section Paragraph.

Could someone help me figure out the root cause? Is there anything wrong in my logic? If so, how is it working

Hi Leo

Revise the <iw_value> tags into CDATAs and put then into braces. The iw_value tag need to be enclosed into braces {} when it is in a CDATA block, if you want to write some values.

When the template has a complex logic, I write it in Perl because it is more clear to see. The logic in a structured langage like Perl is better than XML tags. Use iwpt_output to write in the page, iwpt_dcr_value to extract values, iwpt_dcr_list to iterate, and then. You can use variables to construct the HTML concatenating tables and cells, and write them at the end with only an iwpt_output instruction. Perl is very easy if you write it clearly.

That's all.
