Metatagger 4.0 on Solaris
Jayant
Metatagger version: 4.0
OS: Solaris 9 with all patches for Java 1.4 (java 1.4 is running ok)
After installation, when I run ./mtlicenseinfo, it gives following error:
------------------LOG-----------------------
bash-2.05# ./mtlicenseinfo
ld.so.1: ./mtlicenseinfo: fatal: libicuuc.so.24: open failed: No such file or directory
-------------------END-----------------------
What could be the possible reason? What's the solution for that?
Thanks

Not certain, however, since libicuuc.so.24 is a dynamically loaded library MT cannot find. That
is the first place to start. Fiirst look to see if that library exists on your server:
find / -name libicuuc.so.24 -print (run as root for best results)
If it does, change LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the new directory & things should work.
If not, call Sun and find out what Solaris option includes this library & have your sys admin install it.

Make sure that the directory that contains libicuuc.so.24 is in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. libicuuc.so.24 is usually found in the $MT_HOME/lib sub-directory
e.g.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/apps/mt-home/metatagger/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
