Generated XML showing wrong 'last modified' date

We're using iwpt_compile.ipl inside a script to create the XML files from the DCRs. 95% of them work perfectly fine, but we're starting to get some where the lastmodified date inside the XML is no longer correct, but the content appears to be right. We've tried retouching them inside TS but the lastmodified date is not being updated correctly on generate. Anyone run into anything like this?

Also just to confirm, you're not passing -smarwrite to iwpt_compile.ipl? Is the content of the file changing, or is generation failing? Does iwpt_compile.ipl generate any output for these calls?

No -smartupdate flag in the call, and the scipt appears to run just fine without any errors. The puzzling thing is that only some files are not getting updated properly, where others are perfectly fine.

Appears that some files are making the script throw a warning, but not an outright error ... off to see what I can find.
