How to fill a DCR through a workflow

Hi,
Suppose we have a DCR which has 2 fields, graphic name and graphic path and we want to fill this DCR through an external task in a workflow. How can this be done?

there is a TeamSite module called TeamSite:
CRNode.
it has methods to handle both parsing and modification of a DCR.

Hi,
You crate the external task and get your require field (graphic name and graphic path).
Now use Teamsite:
CRNode or you can also implement your own wrapper pm using XML:
OM.

Greg/Anyone,
I want to parse a dcr from an external task but have trouble specifying the path to the dcr,
would it matter whether the dcr was locked or not.
what should it start with
/.iwmnt/default/main/...
/iwmnt/default/main/...
/default/main/....
What we want to do is before the cgi task for an author to add the metadata using iwmetadata.cgi
is have an external task that completes some default metadata fields i'll use title for example, this is derived from the title field of the dcr used to generate the html page that was submitted to the workflow.
I read the dcr category type and name from the Teamsite e'as and construct the path to the dcr.

You might want to make this a new post so that others will see it as well.
I would presume any of those paths would work. You should be able to edit the dcr through a script even if it is locked.
