Supressing "List of Files"

Someone told me you could supress the list of files box in the metadata window that comes with Teamsite.

How can this be done?

So, this option groups all the options together per file and lists the files in the lefthand pane instead of grouping the rules and listing the rules in the left? Can you attach a screenshot just so I can be sure I understand you?

It doesn't relly remove anything but toggles between listing the files and listing the rules
