Question in a nutshell:

Is there a way to make the quick search tool bar in workSite web perform a fulltext search instead of a description search.

In Desk Site the quickSearch is defaulted to be a Full text search , searching "Anywhere". This is great but in the web , the quick search is just a description search and my customer really needs FT.

Inside <WSW install directory>/includes/tab.js, search for a function called 'doQuickSearch()'. Inside this function, locate the switch statement off of the searchType variable:

switch ( searchType.value ) {
case "documents":
url +="&p-description=" + escape(pDescriptionValue)
break;
...
}

Modify the "documents" case like so:

switch ( searchType.value ) {
case "documents":
url +="&p-full-text=" + escape(pDescriptionValue)
url +="&p-full-text-zone=0"
break;
...
}

Full-text-zones are defined as follows:

Anywhere: 0
Comments: 1
Description: 2

In the example above, if you only wanted to search comments, then you would pass "p-full-text-zone=1".
