Encoding problem

Our site is in polish language. When I preview or generate from the DCR file, Teamsite is not encoding the polish characters properly. Do I need to set any configuration in TeamSite to make it work?
Please help me in this.

you can try to edit IWHOME/local/config/file_encoding.cfg
or you can set server_locale=.... in [iwserver] section in iw.cfg file

By default, the template generates the pages in UTF8, which supports all languages of the world. Could it be that the browser used to view the template is not setting itself to decode in UTF8? Check to see if this is the case. In MSIE, go under View->Encoding and see which encoding is selected when you preview the generated page. Ensure that Unicode (UTF-8) is selected. If this is the problem, you may need to include a <META> tag in the <head> tag of the html. For example:

<head>
<META HTTP-EQUIV='Content-Type' CONTENT='text/html; charset=UTF-8'>
</head>
...

Hi,
we (TS5.5.2SP5) changed the script /iw-home/local/config/iwpt_encoding.ipl,
cause we use UTF-8-encoding in some workareas and ISO-8859-1-encoding on some others.
