DD Error
Bhargav Coca
Still have the same problem as in my previous post.
Please tell me one thing, I have a database.xml as attached and I have different schemas in it. Now some one please tell me how can remove each and every schema from the database.xml and store it in a folder as different *.xml files and still be able to deploy ?
So finally i should have
general_faq.xml
general_links.xml and
database.xml with only <data-deploy-element> tag in it.
Please let me know ASAP
thanks
Jessica

The schema mapping must either reside inline in the deployment config or in the database.xml file. The exception to this rule is if you are using the <dbLoader> capability to run your data deployments, which means the deployments are going through an OD receiver on the way to the database rather than directly to the database.
There's a feature request on file (#54182) asking that a DD deployment config be able to point to an external file containing a schema mapping. Please let me know your company name, or contact Tech Support, if you would like to be attached to the request.

I believe that's the direction Jessica was pointing. It sounds like she wants to have a ddcfg that contains the schema, and then load the environment specific connection info from database.xml, e.g.:
<data-deploy-elements filepath="<od-home>\etc\database.xml" />
