FTP delivery adapter port
mcdoma2000
Can the FTP delivery adapter use a port other than 21 for its operation? If not, do I need to write an adapter that will? If so, is the source available for the existing ftp delivery adapter so I wouldn't have to write it from scratch?

The currently shipping FTP adapter uses the standard port only. Source for the adapter is not included.
I've filed a feature request to make the port configurable (FR #56961). Please let me know your company name, or contact Tech Support, if you would like to be attached to the request.
Thanks.

Since the code for the ftp adapter has not been released... can you tell me if it uses the ftp client on the server it's running on or if it's using a custom ftp client. I'm thinking this could solve the secure ftp question from before.

I believe the delivery adapter is a self-contained ftp client.

David,
I believe it uses
edtFTPj
-- a open source java library.

Update on this. OD 6.0.2 will likely have an updated FTP adapter for which the port can be configured. Target release is end of March.

Hi Todd,
We're currently planning to release OD 6.0.1 in the next few months.
Are there any release notes (differences/bug fixes) that you are able to publish regarding 6.0.2?
Thanks.
