iwmigrate final pass
System
Hi,
This is about the -c option in iwmigrate command.
I mounted the iw-store and iwmnt of the source teamsite on target teamsite. I ran iwmigrate successfully from one teamsite to another teamsite. And it created temp_workarea.
Now I am running the same command with -c option and getting the below output.
Please help on how to use -c option.
Thanks.
Command line: ./iwmigrate -m /devteamsite/iwmnt -o /opt/iwstore/iw-store/newstore -b //devteamsite/other/main/ELMS -c
Usage: iwmigrate [-h] [-v] [-x] [-m mount_location] -o new_backing_location
[-b branch_vpath] [-s starting_ed] [-e ending_ed]
[-t timeout] [-c] [-d] [-f] [-l]
-h Print this message.
-v Print version number.
-b branch Specify source branch for migration.
-x Increment verbosity level.
Can be specified multiple times,
as in -x -x -x
The maximum verbosity is level 3.
-m mount_location of store
Specify mount location of store, as in /iwmnt/default.
-o new_backing_location
Specify new backing store location.
-d Don't recursively convert sub-branches
-s starting_ed
Specify starting ed for conversion
(default is INITIAL)
(This option can only be used with -d)
-e ending_ed
Specify ending ed for conversion
(default is most recent)
(This option can only be used with -d)
-f Full clone of every edition
(doesn't preserve history)
-t timeout Time in minutes for process to run.
-c Cleanup history information (final pass)
-l locale Specify the native locale of the backing
store being converted (if different
from the LC_LOCALE for this system).

In my experience (ts 5.5.2 on solaris), -c flag doesn't exist on iwmigrate.
The manual does not mention -c. The help (iwmigrate -h) does mention it.
I believe the -c exists in iwconvert (to convert backing store 5.0 to 5.5), and iwmigrate was probably created as a derivative of iwconvert. Somebody then probably forgot to remove the -c from the help output.
