Strip HTML tags from metadata

Hi All,

We are using TeamSite 6.1 on Windows Platform. In our application, we are capturing metadata for all files as part of workflow by configuring the datacapture.cfg file in the IW-HOME\local\config directory. One issue we found was, that the users can type in HTML in the metadata fields and hence can messup the generated page.

Is there any configuration where we can disable this like in VA ? or is prgramatically stripping the html is the only way ?

Any ideas ?

try to use validation, and also, do clean your metadata after it's been set.. just in case..
