PT javascript

summergs

Hello,
(TS5.5, IE6, Windows2000)
I would like to insert javascript code into my Presentation Template. Is this possible?
Do I need a special <tag> in order to do this? (my script did not work)
Thanks in Advance!

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<iw_pt name="PT">
<html>
<head>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTF-8"></META>
</head>
<script language="JavaScript">
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
neww = window.open(theURL,winName,features);
neww.focus();
}
</script>

---------------------- Called by:
<a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('{iw_value name='dcr.paragraph.AbsolutePath'}','redirect','width=640,height=480')"><img width='133' height='123' src="{iw_value name='dcr.paragraph.AbsolutePath'}" border='1' alt="{iw_value name='paragraph.text'/}"></img></a>

You don't need a special tag for JS in a PT. I suspect that your problem is here:

<a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('{iw_value name='dcr.paragraph.AbsolutePath'/}','redirect','width=640,height=480')"><img width='133' height='123' src="{iw_value name='dcr.paragraph.AbsolutePath'}" border='1' alt="{iw_value name='paragraph.text'/}"></img></a>

That is, you forgot to close the {iw_value} "tag"
