Teamsite Mediabin connector

jitendra

Hi,

I was looking at the integration options between Mediabin and Teamsite and I cam across the Teamsite Connector for Mediabin, which is supposed to be a standard component of v4.

Reference - http://www.interwoven.com/products/dam/connector.html

I just installed Mediabin 4.5 and wanted to know if this connector is part of the MB asset server installation. Has anyone installed/configured this connector.
Any pointers in this regard would be most useful.

Thanks
Jitendra

There's a new connector wifh MBin 4.5 and TeamSite 6. It's up on Support. Any TeamSite customer should be able to see and download the bits.

It's call ECM Solution Adapter. The V 1.1 version is for MediaBin 4.5. There is a DevNet webcast on this too - on the 1.0 version. see:
http://devnet.interwoven.com/site.fcgi/webcasts/docs/webcast-recordings.html#webcast04-16.

The older connector pre 4.0 was not as robust as this one, and had less features.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back.

We do won both TS and MediaBin software and I recently downloaded these from the support websites.
But I am unable to find any adapter or connector. Are you aware of the URL for the same?

I did find the webcast link.

You have to poke around a little on support. I can't give you the direct link because the software download stuff requires authentication based upon user.
But if you follow these instructions it should get you there:

1. using the top level nav tabs on support, select downloads, and then pick products.

2. answer "i agree" to the screen.

You'll then see a screen with this heading:
Welcome to the ESD System Downloads Center

On the third column there is a list labeled "Content Management"

3. Part way down this list you will see a label "ECM Solution" which is actually a URL.

Click this URL.

4. You should then be taken to a screen so you can download either V 1.0 or V 1.1.

Thanks Lissa.

But I am still unable to find the link. All I see under the Content Management link are -

1) Content Services SDK
2) Teamsite

The three main lists I have on this page are

Content Distribution
Content Management
Digital Asset Management

in that order.

None of the lists have the Adapter you mentioned. Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Please contact support at this email address: supportadmin@interwoven.com

about your specific situation. Be sure you include your customer name. Aparently we've had some logistics issues with a few TeamSite part numbers not showing up properly with access rights.

We spoke to the Interwoven support group.
They will be remapping the downloads avaialble to us. So I should be able to view and download the ECM solution.

Thanks for the helpful response.
