Changing Label of CGI Task
pacer11
Does anyone know if you can change the label on the CGI Task from "Start Input Task" to something that the user would be able to identify with? Currently it's somewhat confusing for my users because they have no idea that they have to Click on this button to move forward in the workflow.
I have tried having the CGI task being immediate but the user that owns the previous task is not the user that owns the cgi task.

Does the owner of this CGI task have some interaction with the workflow before the task you're referring to?
What I'm thinking is this... what if you restructured your tasks such that some external task well before your CGI task sets the owner of the task directly prior to the CGI task (even if it's a dummytask, for instance)?

My client has same request, did you ever figure out a way to change the label of the CGI task.

I assume you are using TeamSite 6.X
Only way would be to hack the resource bundle that is being used to display that value. The problem with that is you have the unintended consequence of dealing with the text at the top of the screen that says hit the Start Input Task button to begin this task. So you would have to find the correct resource bundle and then change it. If you need to support multiple languages of the TeamSite interface (controlled by the user's browser locale setting) you would need to update all of the resource bundles so they all said the same thing to be consistent.
