Creating DCR possible, editing it not

We're using TS 5.5.2 on Windows NT.
One of our users has the following problem.
When she tries to edit a DCR that she has created previously (using TS role "editor"), an error message comes up saying:

TeamSite : FileEdit
Error: You cannot edit the file since you do not have permissions to modify this workarea.

Any ideas about a possible reason for this error would be welcome.

It looks to be a workarea level permission issue.

Is it possible that the DCR was created in one workarea (where the user did have access)
and tried to edit the DCR in another workarea (where the user DOES NOT have access)

Check the user/groups of the user and workarea in question.

Can't recall the exact message but I've seen errors with old DCRs due to the wrong slashes in the properties. Check the properties of the DCR and change any values from "\" to "/" using the command line tool.
