Visualformat- adding a SM button

I would like to add a Service Mark Button(SM) next to the trade mark button (TM) in the VisualFormat Editor(VFE). I got this added by modifying the visualformatconfig.xml & locale0409.xml. How do I make it work. On clicking, I would like SM added just like the TM button which comes with VFE.

You'll need to add code to the ewebeditproevents.js file to insert the superscripted "SM". So, if you modified your visualformatconfig.xml by adding the following line:

<button command="jssm"/>

then you would need to add the following to your ewebeditproevents.js:

eWebEditProExecCommandHandlers["jssm"] = function(sEditorName, strCmdName, strTextData, lData) 
{ 
 eWebEditPro.instances[sEditorName].editor.pasteHTML('<sup><small>SM</small></sup>');
}

If you take a look at the existing ewebeditproevents.js you'll be able to figure out where to add this. In fact, you can just copy the existing array element for "jstm" and add yours the same way (which is what I did for the above sample). The documentation says that you should edit the ewebeditproeventsiw.js, but if you do you'll find that doesn't work. And be sure to keep a copy of the modified ewebeditproevents.js in some type of source control because it will be overwritten any time you apply a TeamSite upgrade or patch.
