Im appling for a job where they use Team Portal, I need to know what it is in 25 words or less so I can BS my way in, you know how it is.

Ermmm - did it occur to you that the people you're interviewing with might also read this forum?

But, anyway, TeamPortal is a generic term for a series of integrations between TeamSite and a portal server. It provides a "My TeamSite" portlet where users can view modified files, import files, submit to staging - basic stuff. It provides a sort of simulated SSO functionality - portal users enter a TeamSite username and password (and domain, on windows) to use for connections to the TeamSite server.

If you need more info than that, then download the docs from the support site.

If you have to BS your way into the job - you're probably not going to hold onto the job for very long. Better to admit you don't know but that you're willing / able to find out (and then read through all the documentation, forum postings, etc.)

Otherwise, find a job you *do* know something about...
