Problem creating our new doc from within filesite

Hi all

We have one problem now with our templates and filesite 8. Currently when the right click on a workspace in the All Mail Folders is used to create a new document a blank documant is created. We have followed the method in the help files for interwoven putting our blank document in C Smiley Tongue

ew and changing the registry settings to point to iManExt.OpenNewFileCmd@winword(.doc) where winword.doc is the name of our new document file.

I've come across the same issue. I found it easier to create my own custom command which launches the Word application and then runs the VBA FileNew process. That way there's parity between creating a new document from within FileSite as well as from within the Word app

The example in the Client Customization Guide was not correct. The directory "New" should be created directly under the installation path, not under desktop\new. So could you please try to put your template file under C:\program files\interwoven\worksite\new, and I believe this change will solve your problem. The documentation error has been reported and will be solved in the future release.
