Hi All,

Can anybody provide us effective guidelines in migrating from Teamsite 5.5.2 to Teamsite 6.1 in a production environment.
Even would like to know the risks involved in the same.

You'll find more than enough to start you off before you have anything specific.

Actually i have worked on TS5.5.2 and TS6.1.
But we have our environment in 5.5.2 which needs to be upgraded to 6.5.
Please do provide updates on the specific manuals if you have.
Ya CCSTD customizations are difficult but migrating the environment is a must.

if you search for "upgrade" in all forums you'll find plenty of threads especially on the first two pages.

Your last post mentions specifically 6.5, I haven't personally seen any challenges in 6.5 that were not in 6.1 (apart from the new components like search etc).

If you are moving from 5.x to 6.5, all threads referring to 6.1 will be just as relevant (unless of course they are talking about bugs specific to 6.1).

Johnny is correct. 6.5 is really a bug fix release with some additional features (search and reporting). That means any upgrade info on going from 5.5.x to 6.0.x is still relevant.
