Modify TeamSite Homepage

acumenhokie

I'm new to TeamSite and I have a question about modifying the homepage. What I'd like to do is modify the login/landing page to say "Maintained by XXXXXX" below the Interwoven icon. By doing this we will be able to better get our name out there and increases our ability to involve new projects and groups. The URL below is an example of the homepage and the red box indicates where I would like to make the change. Basically what I'm looking for is anyone who has done this what is the process. Contact Interwoven? Necessary changes? etc. Basically any information about making this type of change.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

What version of TeamSite ?

Michael

I get a 404 on your URL - you might want to double check it?

Ah, I figured it out - http://filebox.vt.edu/users/chhurst/teamsite.GIF

Michael

I see, thanks.

If all you want to do is modify the appearance then perhaps the simplest way would be to replace the image

your-teamsite-server>http://your-teamsite-server/iw/webdesk/images/ts_logo.gif

with a modified version of your design.

Note that this isn't a supported modification...so you may need to reapply/reconsider after upgrades/patches/service pakcs etc.

I changed the URL of the screenshot so it should work now. Thanks for the quick responses. If anyone else has any suggestions please keep them coming.
