Is it possible to change the output you get when you regenerate a file? I'm referring to the little window that pops up when you regenerate a file by clicking the checkbox next to it and choosing regenerate from the menu.

I don't think you can change that.
You can have a custom menu item which can show the output whatever you want it to be.
What do you want it to be anyways ?
