javascript for anchor button in VFE

Hello,

Does anyone has javascript for anchor tag.

I want to place anchor button on VFE, looking for javascript to go with it when the button is clicked.

I thought managing anchor points and links worked out-of-the-box with VF - at least I know it does in TS 6. What version are you on?

I am using Version 6.1. Can you explain how the anchor tag works? because I do not see any anchor button on Visual Format Editor.

Have you got the cmdbookmark button enabled? Use it to mark your anchor point.

Then using the cmdhyperlink button you can see you your bookmark (aka anchor).in a dropilst and you can reference it there, thus creating your link to your anchor point.

Hopefully this is what you are trying to achieve?

Thanks. This is the information I got from DevNet also. But the client is looking for the anchor button. I thought there would be something, when click the anchor button invoke the javascript for the anchor tag.

I am getting the feeling that I don't understand what you are trying to do sorry. So you are not talking about the bookmark button provided in VF.

Perhaps you could attach a screenshot or references to the doco or try and explain in more details what you mean when you say 'anchor button' and 'javascript for the anchor tag'?????
