Adding Custom Attributes in C++?! * urgent *

Hi everyone,

I saw a post a couple down that had some insightful information into updating custom field entries via COM. However, I'm stuck and have a nasty deadline looming!

Here's whet I have:

INRTDMSPtr pDMS;
INRTSessionPtr pSession;
INRTDatabasePtr pDatabase;

pSession = pDMS->Sessions->Add((_bstr_t)m_strIManServer);
pSession->Login(_T("admin"), _T("adminPass"));
pDatabase = pSession->GetDatabases()->Item(1);

}

Which is working - except - the pDatabase = pSession->GetDatabases()->Item(1); line. I am agetting an access denied here no matter what I chuck in as the index! I have checked a response from Count and there is a database in the collection but I can't seem to access it.

This will be a showstopper for our deployment unless I can get it sorted so I'm eagerly awaiting a response from one of you C++ COM gurus out there!

Try this instead:

pDatabase = pSession->Databases->Item((long)1);
