hi everybody ,

this is my situation . i have 2 multiple selcet box in a pop up window which is invoked by a callout. now one have selceted values and other one is a multiple select box where i can reorder selected items from the ist multiple select box. suppose i wanna make 5 th element in the selcet box to 1st element and 3rd element to 2 nd element. so far i think i can do this far. after that my newly arranged element value will be populate back to a multiple selct box or textarea in the dct. my first question which one will be better choice for me to chose btw textarea or multiple selct box in dct.


i am doing it by javascript and perl.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use a multiselect, as you want to. I'm assuming you have follow-up questions though (since you write "my first question ..."). Can you attach or post some code and let us know in more general terms what you're trying to do?
