Change default dir.for "Picture Properties" in VF

Hi,
when we select the "Picture" button in Visualformat editor, it opens up the "picture properties" box and when we click on the "select new file" button, the setup defaults to the "workarea".
how can we change the path of the select new file button to default to the "Images" directory within the workarea?

Any immediate help is truly appreciated.
