error reading file in sub dir
Bhargav Coca
here is a error message of my code. I am on Team Site 6.5, Win2k, Well all i am trying to do is read the *.html files from a directory which contains some subdirectories. Along with this, my code spits out Metadata attached to it ( In my case Date). My snippet gives me the correct result for my parent directory. But for subdirectories it gives me the following error "Y:/default/main/playground/bhargavc/WORKAREA/workarea/sample/Pressrel2001.html ERROR:02006: Error locating ". Please suggest.

You are trying to read the file from a Perl script ? something else ?
From where is it invoked ?
Post your script or atleast the relevant portions of it.
Did you check if the file actually exists ?
You can try "dir Y:/default/main/playground/bhargavc/WORKAREA/workarea/sample/Pressrel2001.html"
Do you have permission to access that directory/file ?

That error looks like the kind of junk that you get from an iw command-line. The command may be expecting a vpath and not a full path (most accept either). Sometimes those error messages are misleading though. Try running whatever command it is yourself and see if you can figure out what is happening.
