Metatagger install (using TS on a separate box)

I don't see anything in the Metatagger Administration Guide Release 4.0 that states that the connector module needs to be installed on the TeamSite machine if Metatagger is installed on a separate machine. Does this still need to happen?

No you do not have to install any connector module on the teamsite server. Some of the command line's which can be used with metatagger are already installed with TeamSIte 6.x. The only information you have to provide is in iw.cfg.
ex:
[iwmetatagger]
mt_server_name=mtservername
mt_server_port=9095
mt_server_wellknown=9090

Hello Brian,

You have to install MT 3.5 on the same box as TeamSite and then install MT 4.0.1 on a different server for this setup to work. Please see this KB
