You should state start="t" in whichever task you want to designate as running first, sequentially.

it will be the first task. That is what start="true" means.
Johnny
You "could" have more than one start task

Theres a very nice tutorial on workflows written by ghoti. I would highly recommend you go through that. If you search the KBs/TechNotes, you should be able to find it.

Thanks all
Can I know where can i search on "KBs/TechNotes" ?

Well, you clicked on FORUMS to get here, so a good place to start would be the Tech Library link right next to it. The documentation also does a fairly decent job of explaining WF features if you have access to the support site, but more and better information is available in the KB's.

KBs are on the support site.
TechNotes are on devnet.

Whoops, thank you. Many of fish's tools are in the Tech Library though, no?

Actually - KBs are on Support site, KBs that aren't considered restricted and thus are called "tech notes" are on DevNet ;-)
The quality of the KB's (restricted and non-restricted) vary a lot - so keep a grain or two of salt handy when reading them.

Can we get the ids of these technotes somehow? There doesn't seem to be any search functionality for technotes.

What do you think the Search box in the upper-right-hand-corner of this window is for? It also appears on the Tech Library page.

there's also an advanced search up in the grey title bar of this page, and all other pages on devnet.
We could look at repeating this link in the left navigation bar of the tech lib....

Not necessary... no disrespect, but the user who posted that message did so for the first time. While Devnet might not be entirely intuitive to very new users like this, it serves its purpose well in engaging those who are interested to familiarize themselves with it.

I also remembered I put this in the 'site overview'; Search is listed as one of the features in that html document. The site overview is accessible from the footer on every page; or from this URL:
http://devnet.interwoven.com/site.fcgi/browse/newuserpage.html
We try to make the site easy to navigate....but i can be confusing for first time users.
