workflow does not load

Hi

TS: 6.1.0 Build 33333 Interwoven 20040311
Windows 2000 SP4

I am attaching the available_templates.cfg and the wft file.

Problem --

The workflow just hangs after i select the first screen (selection of workflow) , and click on Next button.
Can anyone please help.

First of all - I suggest changing this line of your available_templates.cfg file: <template_file name='Submit Workflow' path='D:\Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\wft\nimnaswfts\assgnmt_submit.wft'>to: <template_file name='Submit Workflow' path='nimnaswfts\assgnmt_submit.wft'>or: <template_file name='Submit Workflow' path='nimnaswfts/assgnmt_submit.wft'>and if you're not going to restrict the workflow based on role - you could get rid of the entire <role_list>...</role_list> clause.

Secondly - does it only happen with this one workflow, or does it happen with any / all of the OOTB workflows?

Third - does it only happen for you (or one user) but work for [almost] everyone else?

Fourth - Are you using CCPro or CCStd?

I have heard that TeamSite 6.x is not compatible with NAV 9. Do you have that installed on your Windows server?

If so, search the KB articles. There's an explanation of the problem, and IWOV blaming Symantec... but ultimately, you'll need to revert back to NAV 7.

1. Changed to <template_file name='Submit Workflow' path='nimnaswfts\assgnmt_submit.wft'> and got rid of role list ...still hangs ... i have to restart the M/C everytime the W/F hangs.

2. It happens with all workflows , all users and all roles. (Atleast theres some consistency here Smiley Happy

)

3. I am using CCStd

4. browser is IE 6.0.2800.1106

5. RAM is 1GB.

This problem is due to Symanted Antivirus. If you face any problems with workflow on M/Cs having Symantec antivirus, just uninstall the antivirus S/W and ur workflows will start behaving !!
