OpenDeploy through multiple firewalls

I have OD already setup & running. I have to setup now the deployment through multiple firewalls in the newly added group of servers.

Has anybody setup OpenDeploy through multiple firewalls before? what are the issues or details I should be aware of before starting with the configuration?

The environment is,
TS552, Solaris 8, OD base server 5.6 sp1
The new OD client : Solaris 9, OD Receiver 5.6

I have checked the KB article # 2052 (was a little confusing) & # 2272 (OpenDeploy 5.x authentication through a firewall). But the real time scenario would help me in a better way.
Apart form opening port 20014 on the OD receiver,
- What will be the configuration details on the base Server side & the receiver side?
I will appreciate to see any live sample examples here.
- Is there any connectivity check I can do beforehand configuring the OD.
- Any details about configuring NAT and port-mappings in the firewalls (may be you can ignore this)

Try this - From TS server "telent <receiver> <port>". If you are able to establish the connection, all you need to do is set up the configurations correctly.
Use IPs instead of hostname everywhere. Just makes things a lot easier.

Yes, I am aware of the telnet to cross chek the conenctivity between the sender & the reciever. As a matter of fact I was just curious about any other odd situation when you can not telnet which is the case for me right now. or may be I will wait & update here till the things are more clear to me from the network folks. Currently the setup is where I can connect using Tunnelling & port forwarding, but I guess that is of no use for OD to confguration (?).
