regenerate wizard

Is there any way to tunr off re-generate when you edit an output file linked to a DCR. If not, is there a way to supress the page that pops up when the page is being regenerated?

Try the following FormAPI code - you will have to either include it inline in your DCT or reference it from a separate javascript source file within your DCT (see the FormAPI documentation for more details):function init() {

we have done this with

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onClose", abortGenerate);

function abortGenerate(){
parent.frames.datacapture_buttonframe.regenerateNeedsTobeDone = false;
return( true );
}

I'd recommend using the API (IWDatacapture.close(false);) over going around/behind the API (parent.frames.datacapture_buttonframe.regenerateNeedsTobeDone = false;) as the latter can easily change from 5.x to 6.x to ... (that's why it's called an API ;-)) I've already run into a couple of issues with that kind of coding during our migration process from 5.5.2 to 6.5...
