TeamSite 6.5 Front Office

Hello

I would like to discover how TeamSite Front Office works. We have users that previous to TeamSite used tools such as Dreamweaver, HomeSite and maybe even Front Page. All of these tools have functionality that works on the entire site. Presently, when we use TeamSite, the user tool set downgrades to working on a page at a time. TeamSite knows about the site as a whole while the client tools do not. The functions to work with the entire site are disabled. At times this is a definite disadvantage. People view TeamSite as a much more primitive tool since they have lost the overall site functions. I would like to find out if TeamSite Front Office is a possible way to reinstate the site functions of these types of tools.

TFO allows you to operate on only one file at a time. It does not provide functionality that works on the entire site.

I don't think TeamSite replaces the functionality provided by Web Authoring tools such as Dreamweaver.
I would recommend your users keep using whatever tools they are using. There are ways you can better integrate your authoring tools with TeamSite. Search the KBs (e.g. for Dreamweaver) for more information.
