Disabline a DCT element

Hello All,

How do disable a text box element in a dct? The contents of the text box are auto populated on form load and is is made readonly. However i would like to have the field disabled.

A piece of code / ref implementation would be great help.

having a readonly filed is not good enough for you? It's done out of the box, if you RTFM

Having the testbox as readonly will not do. There is a need to make this disabled.

disabled in which way? invisible? then use hidden.
