Uploading Image

Hi,

Is it possible to upload files (import functionality) to be called from a DCR. I want my DCR to have a browse text field which opens into local machine and the file specifed is uploaded while the page is generated.

You can certainly add a callout to your DCT form that performs a file upload function (this has been posted about before - search the forums for details)
Having the file uploaded when the DCR is being processed to generate a page seems very questionable - but if you really wanted to do this you would have to handle it in your PT code -- in which case I'm not entirely sure how you would effect such an operation (the DCT as rendered by the GUI acts as a bridge between the client and server; the PT is running, I believe, purely on the server-side so you'd have to erect your own bridge somehow and my guess is you'd be trying to do this without having to prompt for authentication and such. It may be possible but it's probably at least an order of magnitude more work).
