I am trying to add the generate option in the Action drown drop list for task details view in 6.1 professional. This option is present for the content view in Action list. So far I am not successful ... Any ideas.
In addition I would like to add the take option for a group task in the task detail option also.
Appreciate your responses.
Environment:
TeamSite 6.1 SP2
Win2K

maybe what you have written makes some sense to you.. Unfortunately, it does not for me.
Could you please explain in some greater detail to what you are trying to achieve and what in particular does not work? E.g. the phrases like "This option is present for the content view in Action list. So far I am not successful " are very vague...

Here is the detail...
When you log into TeamSite professional Interface on the Content tab there is menu item called "Actions" and in the drop down there an option called "Generate Page".
When you start workflow with a file attached and go to the Workflow - Task tab and go to task details you see the attached file with menu items "Edit" "Preview" "View Differences" "File Comments" "Actions". I would like to add the "Generate Page" option to this Actions menu item.
Hope I am providing enough information.
Appreciate your help

Look through the referfence files to find the entry that adds the Generate Page option to the Actions menu -- there should be an op code or refid or something there.
Then update your ui_custom.xml file to include an entry for the actions list associated with workflows to include the same kind of option.
Take your time doing this - it's a bit unwieldy at first (and even after first sometimes) to go through both the UICG documentation and the reference files to piece together exactly what you need to do - but I am pretty sure it can be done (I've replaced the Preview option in three places with our own custom Preview function by following these same steps).
