Upload menu item

We just upgraded to 6.1 last night (behind the curve, I know) and the users are missing the "Upload" menu item from 5.5.2. Anyone know if it's possible to put that back in? The other options ("my local files", upload via SCE (or whatever the edit bar is called now), etc) are not cutting it for reasons too lengthy to explain.
