Upgrade Win2k to Win2k3 while TS installed?

Hi,

we have TS65 installed on a Win2k box. Now, our IT department wants to upgrade to Win2k3. :-(

What is the best way to go here?
- can you upgrade win2k to 2k3 and expect TS to keep working without a reinstall?
- what is the best practice here?
- any experiences out there?
- what is Iwov's advise here?

Hi,

Here is Iwov's reply:

"I’ve contacted the Engineering regarding this issue and the answer I got is that it’ll be alright to upgrade to Windows 2003 while having Teamsite 6.5 installed. Just make sure you install the Windows 2003 Enterprise Server and not the Standard Server. And also, it would be a good idea to back up any modified installation/configurations files along with the whole backing store."
