initiating workflow from CSSDK

I would like to know how to access the workflow from cssdk ie how to start using the CSWorkflow API.
Can any one help me in finding a documentation other than the Interwoven ContentServices for Teamsite Cookbook Release2.5
I am working on Teamsite 6.5 and Unix
