Error with OpenDeploy Reporting module
dinesh24
Hi,
We are having issues with our reporting module of OpenDeploy.
Questions:
1) Does the event subsystem needs to be running to have the Open Deploy Reporting system to be functioning.
2) Is there a way to clean up the reporting system and start from scratch with respect to event subsystem
Here is information about the system
1) We have stopped the event subsystem
2) And from about the time that we stopped event subsystem we notice the following error logs when we start OpenDeploy
Error loading JNDI context JndiContext-11
3) We are using the default hsql database for the OpenDeploy reporting system
4) And we are noticing the following error in <servername>_odadmin.servletd.log
com.interwoven.report100.TConnectionNotFoundException: com.interwoven.report100.
TConnectionNotFoundException - ReportingDB
5) We noticed the following error in <servername>_database.log
java.sql.SQLException: File input/output error: /opt/i
w-home/AdminServer/odadmin/db/eventReporting.db.script in statement [insert into
IWOD_M2005-03-30 18:38:23 EST - java.sql.SQLException: File input/output error:
saveSorted java.io.IOException: No space left on device
6) We actually were running into space issues at that point. But we have space on that filesystem. Not sure if things got messed up when the we had space issues and the reporting system was not able to recover from it
7) Now we have the folllowing errors
2005-03-30 19:20:20 EST - SQLException: SQLState(37000) vendor code(-11)
2005-03-30 19:20:20 EST - java.sql.SQLException: Unexpected token: Unexpected to
ken: 4 in statement
Thanks

There are instructions in the OD docs about how to reset the demo reporting database (Hypersonic.) But this database is really just for demo purposes. There are also instructions for setting up OD reporting for commercial databases.
The OD reporting does not rely on the TeamSite event subsystem. Rather, it uses its own method of publishing events from configured base servers and receivers to the admin server.
