Please Help - List Modified Causes IE 6 Crash

I'm hoping that someone out there could provide some insight with this...

When I use "List Modified" with IE 6, then select a file and choose "Submit Direct", it either freezes or crashes. This happens with the list of modified files is quite large. If the list is small, then I experience no freezing or crashing of the browser. In addition, if I use Netscape then the crashing does not occur with large or small lists. My first reaction is that this is a browser issue.

Has anyone else experienced this or knows of anything that I might try to rid this problem?

BTW... I'm using TeamSite 5.5 running on Solaris 8.

Crash as in the browser goes away ? Time it ? How long ? If it is consistant, then you may
have a webserver timeout (which easily happens on large list modifieds), that can be changed
in the web servers conf file.

Thanks for your quick response...

After the modified list appears, which takes a long time, I select a file and choose "Submit Direct". Right after that IE freezes and never becomes responsive again.

This is happening for me too. I am selecting less than 100 file and doing submit direct. If I select around 500 files then my IE freezes.

I'm also having a similar issue. We're running TS 6.5 sp2 windows. Performing a list modified is not possible when the amount of files is large. We are able to get around the issue by collapsing folder prior to performing a list modified.
