Using "Integrated Windows authentication" iwproxy
RonaldV
Hi,
We seem to be unable to set up IIS in a teamsite preview environment with IIS "Integrated Windows authentication" turned on.
Here is what we have done. Set up a teamsite preview environment with IIS with all the standard settings:
- iwproxy_preconnect_remap that remaps the http-request to an IIS-instance
- IIS reads from the TS-mounted drive
- all pretty standard & all confirmed OK
On IIS we have turned on User authentication with "Integrated Windows authentication" (via "Directory Security" tab => "Anonymous access and authentication control" => "Integrated Windows authentication").
When we directly access this website through IE we get access.
When we access this website via the iwproxy the authentication fails; IE shows this in the browser "-2146893055 (0x80090301)".
To me it looks like the iwproxy does not forward the authentication through to IIS.
Have you seen this before?
Is there an iwproxy setting that can help this?
Thanks Ronald

Iwov-support answer is "not supported" because "Teamsite has been designed with a open architecture to support different webservers,
not only IIS, that's why only basic authentication is supported."
One can dispute this but he what can you do.
