Teamsite UI problem
aby_sam
I had a problem with Teamsite UI not starting. I tried the iwreset -a without success. During the process I found a message Error: Failing to stop Interwoven Servlet Engine". So I stopped and started TS. Still there is no success. Any clues on why it's happening.
Enviroment: TS 6.0/AIX 5.2
Thanks,

First - hopefully you've opened up a case with support on this - if not - do so ASAP
Second - have you looked at all iw*.log files and all the iwui/*log files?
I haven't done any work with TS on AIX - so I'm not sure where to suggest looking - but I'd certainly hope that one or more log files would contain a bit more information about what's failing...

1) I'm not the channel to interwoven support, so we are yet to log this with interwoven.
2) The iwserver.log doesn't give any info about. this problem. It shows iwuiboot, iwwebd, iw.server stopped & started during the <iw.server stop> & <iw.server start> operations. However the servletd localhost log shows the following error/exception

Well - you'd better connect with your local support channel then - because you've got a problem getting TS to start up - and that is what your organization (or customer) is paying support for assistance with.
It's possible someone out here might be able to assist you - but support is already being paid to do that and so you should make sure to utilize them for this purpose.
