OpenDeploy not working!!

URGENT: OpenDeploy not working: "Could not find matching OpenDeploy client"

When I run OpenDeploy the following error is displayed "ERROR: Connection failed: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client for (FSEKWUKAP01)."

I checked the odnodes.xml and odbase.xml files and though the host name and IP Address was there correctly I changed it to the IP Address (3.127.252.103) in both files. I also changed the hostname from FSEKWUKAP01 to 3.127.252.103 it in the WFT file.

But still the same error comes now with the text "ERROR: Connection failed: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client for (3.127.252.103)"

I have attached both the Log files, before and after the changes.

I have also seen previous posts on this issue and checked accordingly but with no success.

Its URGENT please help me.

Here is the Log after I changed the hostname from FSEKWUKAP01 to 3.127.252.103 in the odnodes.xml odbase.xml and the wft files.

The error still persists!!

Have you restarted the Base Server and/or Receiver(s) since you made the changes to the odnodes.xml, odbase.xml (and/or odrcvr.xml) files?
Does the server configuration for the machine 3.103.156.20 - contain an allowedHost entry for 3.127.252.103 ?
Can you post the server configuration for the machine 3.103.156.20 ?

telnet to the reciever port, you should get a connection (but no feedback):

telnet 3.127.252.103 20014 (assuming default ports)

I get this:

telnet 10.0.42.55 20014
Trying 10.0.42.55...
Connected to 10.0.42.55.
Escape character is '^]'.

then it waits,

shows there is a connection & something sitting on the port

This is what happens when OD is not waiting:

telnet 10.0.42.55 20015
Trying 10.0.42.55...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

Hi,

I had tried many configuration changes (changing host names to IP, tracert to check network connectivity, checked active ports) but none of these worked.

Then on Friday, to my amazement the problem got resolved on its own!!! So I presume that there was problem on the servers or it was a random bug in OD.

I had also logged a case on Interwoven Support and even their SE did not have a clue as to what could have been the cause of problem!!
