Web CMS (TeamSite)
creating editions in 6.5.0
ttriemst
I'm sure that this question has been asked, but I am unable to locate it in the Forums. With TS 6.5.0, is there a way to incrementaly create new edition numbers? When I create a new edition, it prompts me for an edition name. I have looked through the manuals and searched the forums. In TS 5.5.2, when I create an edition, it uses the next number (0023, 0024, 0025, etc...). Would someone know how to make it do the same in 6.5.0?
Thanks

Are you talking about from the command line or from within the UI?
For the command line - the '-g' option should continue to work as it always has.
For the UI - I believe you may want to apply SP1 -- from the release notes:
Enhancements
...
Automatic edition numbering is now the suggested default in the ContentCenter Pro user interface when creating a TeamSite edition.
This is also mentioned under the
Fixed Issues
list as
54753 WebDesk Pro edition auto numbering feature not available in ContentCenter Professional.

I was trying to use it from the GUI. I have not applied SP1 yet (which I am currently downloading), so it sounds like that should answer my question. Thanks for the quick response.

You are correct on SP1... Automatic edition numbering is now the suggested default in the ContentCenter Pro
user interface when creating a TeamSite edition.
