Trusted Login Fails when using Windows XP
sguzman
Hi,
Some of our users that have windows XP can not use their Trusted connection when login to Worksite web. This is only happening with XP.
Is there are known issue with XP and trusted login? I checked the registry setting under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Trust... and the value is set to 3. One of the recommendation from Interwoven support was to uninstall everything including the OS.
Has someone experienced something similar?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Susanna

If you're validating to ActiveDirectory, the reg value should be 6.

What if we had users imported from NT and AD? Currently it is set to 3 so does that mean that it will never work for those users who have XP and were imported from AD?

Which exact registry key are you referring to? I'm not seeing a registry key being created to enable this function.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi There--
We'll be doing an XP upgrade over here over the next few months--right now we're running Windows 2000 , service pack 4. Our DEV environment does not allow trusted login--but--our PROD domains do. I see this is worth putting on my test schedule.
Has there been any news regarding your problem--other than IWOV's suggested re-install? (That not really an option for most of us)
