Starting TS6.1 on Linux

Hi All,

I've just installed TeasmSite 6.1.0 on a Linux box.
Now when I'm starting the iw server using command /etc/init.d/iw.server start it is showing following error:

Interwoven TeamSite starting ...
iw.server: loading vfs pmfs driver
insmod: /boot/ts6.1/kernel/fs/pmfs.o: No such file or directory
ERROR: Failed to start. Check /boot/ts6.1/log/iwserver.log

Is anyone aware of what might be causing this error?

What does it say in iwserver.log? Have you checked out this article on the support site: https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=53224

I had same problem. Please download the required files from http://sourceforge.net/projects/uvfs and copy into iw-home/kernal/fs folder. It should work.

Hi

I've tried to install the UVFS driver. But apparantely there is kernel mismatch that is occuring. Following error is shown:

/boot/ts6.1/kernel/fs/pmfs.o: kernel-module version mismatch

/boot/ts6.1/kernel/fs/pmfs.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.21-4.EL
while the present kernel is version 2.4.20-8.

Is there any other version for UVFS compiled for the required version.??

I too getting kernel mismatch warnings, but I am ignoring. I searched lot but I didn't get correct version. However TS is working fine with out any problem.
