External program needs

Hi all,
I have a question concerning a fully evaluated dct !
The scenario is that we have an external applicatoin that needs to display the DCR/dct.
The thing is that this dct has some inline calls for dropdowns to be populated. Now is there any commandline tools (command) that executes these inlines so that I can pass a fully evaluated dct/dct to my application ?
Any help/hints will be appreciated.
.Regards
Saya

To what version of TeamSite and on what platform is this all in regards
Are you saying that you are trying to provide your own custom UI for editing DCRs?
Why?
What are you hoping to gain by doing so?
Have you fully taken into consideration what this means? and how much more code development you'll have to do in order to preserve functionality that exists out of the box?
As for processing the inlines - you could do so yourself by processing the DCT and any place you see an inline script run the command specified and perform the substitution indicated -- it will take some work to do it - but frankly I think that's the least of your problems.

Hi Fish,
The version in question is 5.5.2 and on a windows platform.
What I thought about this was as follows:
When a DCR is opened in TeamSite the inline commandoes are executed before the user gets to edit any data. For this som component/script must be called, and if so, why can I not use the same component/script.
The reason for creating this app is, that TeamSite craches because the DCR is to large :-( ...

Are you sure the problem is that the DCR is too large?
Do you have VFE textarea fields in the DCT? If so - are they using the inline editor or the callout editor?
Have you worked with support regarding the crashing problem?
I think you're heading in the wrong direction to find a solution for your problem -- at least as a early choice in terms of directions that one might take.
