easy deploy and Data Deploy

Hello everyone,
As per my understanding. Easy Deploy 6.0.0 comes with ODbase 6.0.0 and ODadmin 6.0.0 and OD reciever software 6.0.0. there is no Data Deploy software with this file. Is DD required if i need to do some deployments. If not how would i configure my DD. I am on Teamsite 6.5 on win2k3 server. Please advice.

The EasyDeploy Base Server has DAS baked in, similar to a full OpenDeploy Base Server.

If you want DataDeploy functionality (i.e., command line deployments), you have to download and run the DD enabler tool.

Hello Todd,
i am thinking of doing a standalone deployment, is it possible with easy deploy? If not what is my other option. I have access to support site, but i couldn't find the dd enabler tool, can you please post a link for the same.

To get the DD enabler, go to the support site and select product downloads. There you should see DataDeploy listed. Drill down to version 6.0.x, where x corresponds to the version of OD that you are using.

If DataDeploy is not listed, then the customer ID you've logged in with does not have an entitlement in the customer database. Contact Tech Support to determine whether you should have access and, if so, to correct the access problem.
