Has anyone installed OD 6.02 lately on Solaris 8? Do OD 6.02 come with Orlace DBD driver for DataDeploy?

We've used OD 6.0.2 (with DD enabled) on Solaris 9 to deploy metadata to an Oracle 9i DB without any significant problems. I believe it uses JDBC or some such protocol.
We've aslo built our own copy of DBD:
racle for use with Perl DBI code to interact with the same Oracle 9i DB -- but that's not required for DataDeploy.

Supported drivers are indicated in the OD 6.0.2 release notes under "Supported Databases for Data Deployments". Unless otherwise noted (by footnote d), the supported drivers are included with OD.

Well, it tured out you need to rebuild DBD driver, the new iwperl dos not have it.

You shouldn't need the iwperl DBD driver for DataDeploy.
You should only need it if you are using Perl DBI.
