I am trying to customize CCSTD UI with an "Example" menu item next to the "New" menu item under new forms portlet.

This Example menu item should link to its corresponding example page for that form located in TS.

The main idea of this customization is to show the users how their generated html is going to look like.

I have customized the example menu item and have linked it to the devnet site but i need help to link it to its corresponding page.

It would be great to have ur ideas on this.

are you sure this is what you want? IMO, a preview functionality in Forms Publisher does just that

Hi,

The files actually are a set of images with their respective dct names.

So, this customized "Example" link should bring up that particular forms example image from the folder and show up.

That img is the html's image with some mark up on it which would be easy for the users to know where their contents exactly fit in the generated html.

The Preview of course shows the generated page preview but this image would be helpful for training authors.

I appreciate your ideas and waiting for feedback.

Can you not just customize the how do I portlet?..

You can add a link to a style guide section for example that show's all these samples.

I would avoid customizing the new forms portlet.
